WORKOUT: TRACK DRILLS & STRIDES; Wednesday 6PM 45 Degrees

WARMUP – 1/2 mile walk, JJ, Walking drills, Marching drills

STRIDES (on grass)
4 x 150 meters – 50% effort

STRIDES (track)
3 x 80 meters – 50% effort

1/2 mile walk

SUMMARY
Strides on the track felt better than grass.  I’m still cautious -particularly on the right foot planting.   My legs/ankles still feel tight and inflexible in different spots (shins, right achilles, left calf).  I don’t have confidence my calves can handle the force of sprinting.   This process is going alot slower than I expected.    I’m going to change out my running shoes this week just to rule that out as a problem.   Not much mileage on either pair of shoes, but I’ve done alot of sprinting in both of them.
