WORKOUT DESCRIPTION

Sunday – 10:30 AM- Sacramento State Practice Track – Sunny, 50+ Degrees Sprint Training

MOBILITY
Dynamic Stretches x 1 sets (10m then sprint 10m.): Knee Hug, Knee to Shoulder, Straight Leg Kick, Knee to opposite Elbow. (Cues: Toe up, rise onto ball of the foot, and stay tall.) Walk back slowly.

SPRINTS
The goal – 30meters < 3.57 seconds with a 25 meter run in at 100%. Hand timed 30meter speed zone.  Complete recovery (5 minutes) and brief (5 secs) static stretches between sprints.

Sprint 1 – 3.56
Sprint 2 – 3.57
Sprint 3 – 3.56
Sprint 4 – 3.50
Sprint 5 – 3.60
Sprint 6 – 3.58

Sprint 4 is the fastest I’ve run a 30meter split. All my times were within a pretty good range of each other.
