Summary

Deload week for 5/3/1. Did some dynamic warmup; 3 sets of 5 squats: 90, 115, 135.

Not paying attention, unloading a bar – smashed/jammed my right thumb. Range of motion in the joint seems okay. The nail looks totalled.  Same thumb is healing from a cut climbing the fence at track last week.   Hook grip is not an option for awhile.

(edit: 3/18 AM.   Extreme pressure from the thumb hematoma was pushing the nail off yesterday…pain was radiating to the elbow.  Drilled two holes through nail to drain hematoma – instant relief.  Still draining 24 hours later.   Wish I’d have done it right after the injury.)
